他研究了這一批「學新語言學特快」的人，他發現，關鍵就在，這些學很快的人，似乎都對「聲音」很敏感（intuitive about the sounds）。

他們學一個新語言，注重在「聽」那個語言的聲音，而不是注重在「文法」或「單字」，甚至不是「閱讀」的能力。"

所以可見一個全英文環境的重要性！而菲律賓正是一個可以提供這樣條件，又經濟實惠的的地方呢！能讓學生短時間內快速學英語！

學院簡介：

American English Learning Center (AELC)就位在離馬尼拉北方約1-2小時車程的克拉克，本身也有座機場，但從台灣須由馬尼拉轉機方可到達。AELC有兩個中心校區，兩種型態截然不同，中心1走小巧路線，校區不大，採獨棟式設計，就與另一間語言學校緊緊相鄰；中心2則位於另一克拉克經濟特區，位於大樓內，近克拉克機場，只有5分鐘車程。

中心1主要提供成年人和青年學生課程，同時也是TOEIC官方授權的考試中心；中心2則是除了成年人和學生及IELTS雅思課程外，還提供幼稚園孩童的英文課程，適合家長和小孩一同學習。
